Janet Jackson expects to release new material next March. In an interview with Atlanta radio station, the songstress said she is currently recording the album and her longtime beau producer Jermaine Dupri, has yet to add his personal touch to it. Janet also confesses her plans of writing a book about her own weight struggles. The star described the project as “coming from the soul with it…and what I was going through at different times in my life, and what possibly brought it about for myself."

Three years after a "wardrobe malfunction" which exhibited Janet Jackson's right breast during a number with Justin Timberlake at the halftime show of Super Bowl XXXVIII, a federal appeals court will consider whether its appearance was indecent or merely a fleeting and accidental glitch. The Federal Communications Commission fined the CBS with an amount of a $550,000, while the broadcaster claims "fleeting, isolated or unintended" images should not automatically be considered indecent.
Janet channges recording label: from Virgin to Island Records - 2007-08-16
Janet Jackson has left the label Virgin Records, with who she signed a recording agreement in 1991. The deal was allegedly worth between $30 and $40 million. Janet is currently working with Island Records on her material for the label. Her fiancee , Jermaine Dupri, is in charge of Island's urban division.
Janet and Michael Jackson may perform on tour together - 2007-05-15
La Toya Jackson has confirmed the rumours that Janet and Michael are going to tour together, claiming there is a "strong, strong, strong possibility" of it happening.
